Before this, I completed my PhD with Barb Vanderhyden at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. My research applies high-throughput experimental systems and single-cell genomics to understand how cellular plasticity—the ability of a cell to adapt to its environment—contributes to tumour progression and tissue regeneration. Beyond this work, I’m passionate about training and producing resources for the scientific community, from day-long workshops on introductory scRNA-seq analysis to code snippets for common steps in exploratory data analysis.
